Structured cabling is a standardised, planned infrastructure for carrying data, voice, and video signals throughout a building. Unlike point-to-point wiring — where each device is cabled directly to another — a structured system uses a hierarchical layout of patch panels, cable trays, and clearly labelled runs that terminate in telecommunications rooms.
The result is a network that is organised, fully documented, and easy to expand. When a port fails, a technician can trace and replace it in minutes rather than hours. When your team doubles in size, new workstations plug into the existing infrastructure without rewiring.
The point where external network service providers connect to your business..
High-performance cables that connect different floors and sections of a building.
Wiring that connects workstations, computers, and other devices to the network.
Spaces where network hardware, switches, and routers are organized.
Connectors, cables, and devices that enable user access to the network.

We focus on creating reliable and well-organized systems that support your daily operations without interruptions. Whether you are setting up a new office or upgrading your existing infrastructure, our solutions are built to improve performance, reduce downtime, and keep your business running efficiently.
Here’s a simple overview of the services we provide:
We design and install structured cabling systems for offices of all sizes — from a 10-seat co-working space to a 500+ workstation corporate headquarters. Every installation covers data points, VoIP telephony lines, wireless access point locations, and AV connections, all terminating in a clean, labelled patch panel arrangement in your server or comms room. Standards: Cat6A to ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 | Tested with Fluke DSX-600 | Full certification report on handover
High-density data centre environments demand precision. We work to BICSI TDMM guidelines, using structured trunking systems, overhead cable trays, and colour-coded patch schemes to ensure your rack space is clean, airflow is unobstructed, and every connection is traceable. We install Cat6A copper for short intra-rack runs and OM4 or OS2 fibre for inter-rack and long-distance backbone links.
We install structured cabling for IP-based CCTV systems, including Cat6 runs to cameras, fibre backbone for long-distance links, and conduit installation in outdoor or exposed environments. All CCTV cabling work is carried out in compliance with SIRA regulations where applicable.
AStrong wireless coverage depends on correctly placed, properly cabled access points. We carry out a site RF survey, specify AP locations, and install the Cat6A cabling and Power over Ethernet (PoE) infrastructure that your wireless network relies on. Poor cabling is the most common cause of dead zones — and the most overlooked.
Modern IP telephony runs on the same Cat6 infrastructure as your data network, using a single Ethernet point per desk. We design cabling layouts that support unified communications platforms, ensuring adequate port density, PoE availability, and clean separation of voice VLANs where required.
We install structured AV cabling for conference rooms, boardrooms, training facilities, and digital signage — supporting 4K display feeds, ceiling-mounted speakers, microphone arrays, and video conferencing cameras. Connections terminate at wall plates or floor boxes and route neatly to AV rack locations.
Warehouse environments place specific demands on cabling infrastructure: long cable runs, exposure to dust and temperature variation, and integration with automation systems and IoT sensors. We specify armoured cabling, heavy-duty containment, and industrial-grade connectors where the environment requires it.
Where copper reaches its limits — whether due to distance, electromagnetic interference, or bandwidth demand — we install single-mode (OS2) and multimode (OM3/OM4) fibre optic cabling. Our engineers perform fusion splicing and mechanical termination, with insertion loss testing on every link to verify performance.
Cable rearrangement and maintenance involve reorganizing and upgrading existing cabling systems to enhance performance, reduce clutter, and extend infrastructure lifespan. This service improves network efficiency, minimizes downtime, and ensures smooth operations for businesses. It is perfect for companies looking to optimize, upgrade, or future-proof their current network setup.
Villa cabling solutions provide customized networking, security, and entertainment cabling for residential properties. This ensures seamless connectivity for smart home systems, home theaters, and surveillance setups, enhancing security and overall living experience. It is ideal for luxury villas, apartments, and residential complexes that require advanced connectivity solutions for modern living.
Structured cabling is a cornerstone of modern network infrastructure, offering numerous benefits for businesses of all sizes. Here’s why organizations across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, across all the emirates in the UAE and beyond are opting for structured cabling solutions:

Structured cabling systems are designed to grow with your business. Whether you’re adding new devices, expanding your office space, or integrating advanced technologies, structured cabling allows for seamless upgrades without the need for extensive rewiring or disruptions.
With a well-organized and clearly labeled cabling system, identifying and resolving network issues becomes significantly easier. This reduces downtime and allows IT teams to address problems quickly and efficiently.
One of the standout features of structured cabling is its ability to support a wide range of applications, including data, voice, video, and even IoT devices. This flexibility ensures that your network can adapt to evolving business needs and technological advancements.
While the upfront investment in structured cabling may be higher, it pays off in the long run. By reducing the need for frequent repairs, upgrades, and replacements, structured cabling offers significant cost savings over time. Additionally, its ability to support future technologies ensures that your infrastructure remains relevant for years to come
Built to meet industry standards, structured cabling minimizes issues like signal loss, interference, and downtime. This results in a more stable and high-performing network, which is critical for businesses that rely on uninterrupted connectivity.
At Xedos Technologies, we understand that every industry has unique networking needs. Our structured cabling solutions in Dubai are designed to cater to a wide range of sectors, including Corporate Offices, Healthcare Facilities, Educational Institutions,.
Every project follows a structured process that removes ambiguity and keeps the installation on programme.
We visit your premises to assess the physical environment, map cable routes, identify potential interference sources, and determine the correct cable categories and containment systems for your application. For larger projects, this includes a formal capacity plan covering current and projected user counts.
We produce a cabling layout drawing showing cable routes, patch panel positions, telecommunications room locations, and workstation/AP outlet counts. The design references ANSI/TIA-568 or ISO/IEC 11801 as appropriate. The quotation itemises labour, materials, containment, testing, and documentation separately.
Our installation teams work to the agreed drawings. Cable runs are correctly dressed, secured at the specified intervals, and kept well clear of electrical conduit to avoid electromagnetic interference. Patch panels are terminated, labelled with a consistent numbering scheme, and documented before any active equipment is connected.
Every copper link is tested with a Fluke DSX-600 cable analyser to Level III accuracy. Fibre links are tested with an optical power meter and OTDR where distances warrant it. All test results — pass and fail — are logged. Failures are re-terminated and re-tested before the project is considered complete.
You receive a complete handover pack: as-built drawings, a port numbering register, Fluke certification reports, and a photograph record of all patch panels and telecommunications rooms. This documentation is what allows your IT team to manage the infrastructure confidently for the years ahead.

We have been installing and maintaining cabling infrastructure across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Ajman since 2013. Our engineers understand local building regulations, Etisalat and du interconnection requirements, and Dubai Municipality compliance from direct project experience — not from a manual.
Every installation is designed and executed to ANSI/TIA-568 (commercial) and ISO/IEC 11801 (international) standards. We certify all copper and fibre links using a Fluke DSX cable analyser and provide a full certification report at project handover — the document your IT team needs for warranties and audits.
We do not sign off a cabling installation without passing every link through a certifying test. Each cable run is tested for length, attenuation, NEXT, return loss, and propagation delay. You receive the test results pass or fail before the project is closed.
We handle survey, design, installation, testing, and documentation under one contract. There is no handoff between a designer and a separate installer. One project manager is accountable from the first site visit to the handover pack.
We specify and install cabling from leading manufacturers — Belden, Panduit, D-Link, Schneider Electric, and CommScope selected for the requirements of each project. We do not substitute specified materials without client approval.
Structured cabling is a long-term infrastructure investment. We offer Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) covering periodic inspections, port testing, labelling updates, and fault resolution so your network remains documented and fully operational as your business changes.
By implementing a structured cabling system, businesses can build a future-proof, reliable, and efficient network infrastructure that not only meets current demands but also adapts to future challenges. Whether you’re a small business or a large enterprise, structured cabling provides the foundation for seamless connectivity and operational success.

Faster fault resolutionA labelled, documented cabling system turns a network fault from an hours-long investigation into a five-minute fix. Every port traces back to a known location in the patch panel. Every run has a test record.
Scalability without rewiring
Adding workstations, access points, or IP cameras does not require pulling new cable runs — provided the infrastructure was designed with growth in mind. Our installations are sized with headroom built in.
Support for current and future bandwidth
Cat6A supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet over 100-metre runs. Fibre optic supports 40G, 100G, and beyond. Installing the correct cable category today avoids a costly rip-and-replace when applications demand more bandwidth.
Cleaner, safer environment
Organised cabling in contained trays reduces fire risk, improves airflow in server rooms, and eliminates the trip hazards and accidental disconnections that come with unmanaged wiring.
Demonstrable compliance
A certified, documented cabling installation satisfies insurance requirements, supports ISO 27001 audits, and protects the warranty on your active network hardware. Manufacturers often void switch and router warranties where the cabling does not meet minimum standards.
A well-installed structured cabling system can last up to 10-15 years, depending on usage and maintenance.
Yes, our cabling systems are designed to support IoT devices, ensuring seamless connectivity for smart technologies.
Yes, we offer 24/7 emergency cabling services to address urgent network issues.
We cater to a wide range of industries, including healthcare, education, retail, hospitality, and government sectors..
For most commercial offices in the UAE, we specify Cat6A — the current industry standard for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over 100 metres. It also handles Power over Ethernet (PoE++) for IP phones, access points, and IP cameras on a single cable. Older Cat5e and Cat6 installations can still support standard networks but are not future-proofed for 10G or high-power PoE. We recommend fibre optic for inter-floor backbone runs and any link exceeding 90 metres.
A straightforward office installation — 50 to 100 data points on a single floor — typically takes three to five working days, including testing and documentation. Larger multi-floor or multi-building projects are scheduled in phases and are planned to minimise disruption to occupied spaces. We provide a programme with the quotation so you can plan around the works.
A properly installed Cat6A system has a physical lifespan of 20–25 years under normal conditions. The limiting factor is usually the cable category rather than the physical cable itself technology requirements may make an upgrade worthwhile before the cable fails. Regular AMC inspections help identify degraded connections or containment before they become faults.
Yes. Every copper link is tested with a Fluke DSX-600 cable analyser, and the results — including link length, attenuation, NEXT, return loss, and propagation delay — are recorded against each port number. You receive this certification report as part of the project handover pack. This document is required by most network equipment manufacturers to validate hardware warranties.
Pricing depends on the number of data points, cable category, building construction (raised floor, false ceiling, exposed containment), and access conditions. As a general guide, a fully certified Cat6A point — including containment, patch panel termination, faceplate, and Fluke testing — typically ranges from AED 150 to AED 350 per point depending on scope and complexity. Fibre backbone links are priced separately. Contact us for a site survey and itemised quotation.
Yes. We have completed installations in occupied banking floors, clinical environments, and live hotel properties. We schedule noisy or disruptive work — core drilling, conduit installation — outside business hours. Our teams clean up after themselves at the end of each shift, and we coordinate closely with your facilities manager to protect business continuity.
Yes. We offer Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) covering periodic port testing, physical inspection of patch panels and containment, labelling updates, and fault response.
